It was already confirmed that Electronic Arts is preparing the release of Star Wars: Battlefront reboot in Fall 2015. Although there are no official mention of the game’s details, numerous rumors have spread out from its core gameplay, to its storyline, to its expansion packs.
Just last week, one fan site has published tons of unverified information about the game. While the leaked details seems legit and matches with what EA has presented in one of their videos, The developing company still has to make an official announcement also in Spring this year.
According to the game’s leaked details, Star Wars Battlefront reboot will have lengthy single player campaigns as well as multiplayer modes that can support up to 64 players in every match.
The story line would most definitely still be about the conflict between the light vs. the darks side of the force. However, in order to eliminate one-sidedness and stereotypes, players are given the chance to play from both sides, whether it’s from the Old Republic, the (new) Republic, or Rebellion. If playing for the dark side, there are also options from the Empire and the Separatist. In other words, the game offers diversity to players who may want to go through the story by playing on both perspectives.
The leak goes on to mention that the end of the story would lead to the opening plot of movie "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens". The film is due to be released in December this year, and if all details go together, it’s going to be a geek fest to all Star Wars fans.
EA promises gamers to deliver the best Star Wars: Battlefront reboot experience. As a matter of fact, the game is expected to have up to five DLC expansions with more maps, characters, and additional stories for players to go through. In the meantime, gamers would just have to sit tight until EA comes out with an official statement about the game.
