The latest word is that Insurgent supporting actor Ansel Elgort, who plays Tris’ baby brother Caleb, is back with his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan! The 20-year old New Yorker is the latest in the much-anticipated movie’s cast to find himself in a gauntlet of media attention over his romantic life.
Various sources confirm that Elgort and Komyshan are indeed back together after a 5-month parting of ways. The two reportedly split last summer because she could no longer take his very busy schedule and all the attention he was getting from other women, which apparently came packaged with his rising success as an actor. However, the two evidently got over that bump and were seen together recently at the Reagan National Airport in Washington DC, in a report by Entertainment Wise.
The same source said that Violetta accompanied her man as he flew off on a DJ gig. It was also revealed that Ansel is known by the name “DJ Ansolo” in night clubbing circles.
The young love birds reportedly met when they both attended prestigious LaGuardia High School—where New York’s scions study. Another interesting tidbit about the two is that Violetta is a dancer, while Ansel also has a dancing background, having tried out for the American Ballet School, according to IMDb.
During their months apart, there was no shortage of dating rumors hounding the short-lived bachelor. He was briefly linked to actress Sarah Hyland, singer Taylor Swift and even fellow Divergent cast member Shailene Woodely, at some point. MStars News said that bachelor life didn’t really suit Ansel so he is now back to a committed relationship with Violetta. The young actor was also quoted as saying that he was “doing OK” but that “something was missing.”
Aside from starring the Divergent, Ansel also cemented his place among Hollywood’s up-and-coming with the successes of his other 2014 film undertakings: 'The Fault in Our Stars' and 'Men, Women & Children.'
