It seems that Taylor Swift and Kanye West are now very okay after having dinner together in New York City. The dinner took place after a week of their announcement that they are collaborating on a song together.
Talk about a huge deal after what happened to the 2009 GRAMMY Awards when Kanye stormed on the stage proclaiming that his friend Beyonce should have won the best Music Video Award. However, all that was shoved under the bush because Swift and West have made up in the past few months and is making a new collaboration.
A source from Us Weekly said, "They ended their feud at the Grammys and are fine now" as the two were seen together in New York City last Tuesday. The 1989 singer broke bread with the 37-year-old rapper in a restaurant called, The Spotted Pig.
The two stars reportedly arrived in the restaurant around 10:30 p.m. with Taylor rocking a beige peacoat over her tights while West is sporting a purple hoodie under an oversized jacket and a pair of denim jeans as reported by Fashion & Style. The dinner of course was strictly professional.
West already said a week ago at the Ryan Seacrest's radio show about his collaboration with the pop star.
"Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in the studio and work." West even added, "I don't discriminate, I don't have elitism of music because of like how many Grammys or you know, the amount of ratings you get on an album. I that think everyone loves music whether they love hip-hop, alternative, country, and if I could be involved in giving people any type of energy, advice in studio, whether you're Beyonce, whether you're Taylor Swift, whether you're Jay-Z, whether you're Beck, whoever, and they can be reciprocal with that, I'd like to be involved with that."
Kanye West also said in an interview that the blonde pop star was supposed to be in the audience at the Yeezy Fashion Show on New York Fashion Week according to Daily Mail, she did not show up. Apparently, West did not know either why the Taylor was absent but it didn't stop the fashion show to be a success with a few other singing sensations on the front row.
