It should be dream come true for Australian Melissa Whitelaw when One Direction's Niall Horan kissed her, but dating one of the boys will surely have consequences and some of them can be quite nasty. After the rumor that Melissa and Niall are dating, fans were sent into a rage and verbally assaulted Melissa on social media.

Although it's not uncommon for the One Direction to be surrounded with so many girls, one gal got the attention of the fans as she appeared to be kissing him. The zealous fans immediately scouted for her whereabouts and sent her some hate messages, reported SMH.
One fan wrote on Twitter, "OMG Niall Horan and Melissa. They were seen in a casino, they kissed. And he held her by the waist and playing with her hair [sic]."
The angry fans threatened to look for her and "kill her."
Yet another fan menacingly asked her to step out of it or suffer the consequences.
"Melissa Whitelaw can f---ing leave on her own or be forced out. Choose wisely b---h."
Whitelaw tried to defend herself from an almost endless tirade from the angry mob.
"I haven't done anything to any of you so please stop sending me mean comments," Mail Online reported.
She also claimed that she and Niall are just waiting for right timing to go public in their relationship.
"For all you asking yeah Niall and I are dating. Niall has not posted about it because we have decided we will wait until it's the right time."
Some fans, however, claim that she already has a beau and that the two are nothing more than friends, reported Home.
Two weeks ago, the One Direction boys were performing in Australia for their 'On the Road Again' world tour. Niall Horan were having a fantastic time with Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, exploring zoos, tasting the best delicacies of Australian restaurants, and exuberant night outs.
