Samsung is stepping its game up as it readies itself for the unveiling of its new flagship phone, which many believed to be the Galaxy S6. Although unofficial, many leaks of the phone’s features have already come out from various sources. Then again, while they’re too good for Samsung’s new flagship smartphone, official details would still be revealed during the Mobile World Congress (MWC)
Samsung’s senior vice president DongHoon Jang explained in a blog post, “We meticulously evaluate every single facet of our smartphone cameras by taking over 10,000 photos in every imaginable lighting environment for analysis." He added that they delivered the same dedication and passion in its upcoming flagship phone-cameras.
The supposed Samsung Galaxy S6 phones should come in two versions. Several reports hinted that the one model would have a 3-sided display. Both phones is expected to feature all-metal bodies with Samsung's latest Exynos chip with 4GB RAM. Internal storage options for both models are 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, and may have an option for micro SD card expansion.
The most recent rumor is that Samsung’s new flagship phones would have 5.1-inch displays, with one variant to feature three-sided display as well as an extremely user-friendly 20MP camera.
Apple’s current iPhone 6 have caused Samsung to stagger in the mobile market just recently. According to some tech analysts, the Korean-based company (Samsung) would have to change and come up with something different if they are to recover from the poor sales performance of their previous phones. Apparently, the Galaxy S6 is going to be the company’s new game-changer that will exceed beyond its former standards.
Samsung’s new flagship phones will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress this March. As for the release date, one Samsung employee says that the company has issued vacation blackout periods on its agenda. This could mean that the Samsung Galaxy S6 release will be any time after the said event. The black starts March 22 up to March 30, and it further notes that release could be on the 22nd or several days after.
