'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Cast, Spoilers: Tony Stark, Bruce Banner become dead serious; Sequel shows darker Iron Man, Hulk?

Even without a fight he's angry what more if he really pissed off because of irritating nemesis such as Ultron. But in an interview, Mark Ruffalo said his character Bruce Banner matures in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.' Incidentally, Tony Stark matures too according to Robert Downey Jr. Does it mean Avengers 2 is dark serious that Hulk needs to smash harder and Iron Man is tamed?

In his interview with Empire, Ruffalo shared that he had superb experience in the first Avengers movie, but in the sequel he gets accustomed to internalize a 2-in-1 character.

"I think he's definitely matured a little bit since the last one. He's become more acclimated to this thing and to being part of the team. I think he feels more a part of them all. But in this particular take on it, it's a much more character-driven version of The Avengers than the first one. It gets a little deeper into each character. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not happening anymore, so there's not that much time spent with the S.H.I.E.L.D. stuff. I feel that every character has their own cool little thing happening," Mark said about Bruce a.k.a. Hulk.

The 47-year old 'Begin Again' actor also commented that though Banner gains control he can't always be sure with the other person inside of him. Ruffalo even described the green guy as "wild card," "loose cannon," and "atom bomb."

Meantime, Downey expressed that Tony Stark realizes things that help him to become humble and ultimately, be a team player.

"What I appreciate is that he is maturing and that he is becoming a benefactor of something vastly different than his father ever could have imagined. The promised legacy of Iron Man 2 has really been realised in a way that I go, 'Oh, that's creative and smart and it keeps pushing the peanut forward and it's interesting and new and it makes space'. Tony has always been interested in how he can make more space for himself under the guise of having a moral psychology and a spiritual awakening of sorts in the cave, but now it's about being a worker amongst workers and trying to find his place and go back to the simplicity of where it all started, which is that a gal who used to work for him became his love. That's been such a huge part of what I think differentiated him," Downey said in a separate interview with Empire.

Apparently though Bruce and Tony become better and wiser they still prone to follow their emotions. As per Avengers 2' trailer, they have battle scene as Hulk and Iron Man. According to Fashion and Style, Ultron or any of his comrades will try influence Bruce to take different side, which Tony can't take of course.

For those feel sad if Avengers 2 is all about action without fun and romance, fret not because according to Screen Rant's report writer-director Joss Whedon made sure he covers what fans want to see.

"With the first [Avengers], I set out to make a war movie. This time I said to Marvel, 'I really want to make more of a science-fiction horror.' But then in the first week I was like 'This is clearly a western.' "Then it became a war movie again, then, 'Oh no, it's a romantic comedy, a 1940s romantic comedy... No, it's Ibsen! No, okay, it's definitely an adventure. It's an action comedy,'' Whedon said in his interview with Digital Spy. "I suppose if it's gonna get put in a category, it has got some science fiction in it, but for me, it's just everything."

Avengers: Age of Ultron that will premiere on May 1 also features Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Jenner as Hawkeye, Paul Bettany as Vision, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, and James Spader as Ultron.
