Episode 16 of 'Castle' season 7 will see Castle-Beckett in spacesuits trying to solve a mystery that is sure to captivate their attention. David Amann revealed that fans will expect a Ryan-centric episode coming up.
After the suspense-filled episode of last week, fans of the show will see the lovers and mystery-solvers Rick Castle and Kate Beckett back to their crime-fighting days. According to the episode's synopsis by TV Guide, Castle and Beckett will be clad in spacesuits to solve the murder of an astronaut. They will discover the astronaut died in a sealed simulation chamber where no one could have entered.
The astronaut was training for a trip to Mars and it seems no one inside the sealed chamber could have committed the murder and no one from outside could enter.
Additionally, the showrunner David Amann confirmed the mysterious case in an interview with TV Guide. He said, "It's basically murder on Mars. There's a Mars simulation with astronauts who've been locked away in a Mars environment for six months, and one of them is murdered. But none of them could have done it -- nobody could have gotten in. So Castle and Beckett have to put on spacesuits and go talk to people."
Meanwhile, the great detective Ryan got a second job to help himself for college fees. Entertainment Weekly has reported that Amann has teased that viewers are going to see an episode full of Ryan.
"We have a Ryan-centric episode coming up that's a dramatic episode. He's been moonlighting working security and he's protecting an important person. Something goes horribly awry while he's doing it, and he gets embroiled in trying to find out what exactly happened," the showrunner said.
The next new episode "The Wrong Stuff," is going to air Monday night. After that, the show will go on a short hiatus until after the season of "The Bachelor" ends.
