Naruto, an epic story of a young Shinobi who aspires to be a hokage ended last year in the November issue of the Shonen Jump, a weekly magazine by Shueisha which features the latest manga that Japan has to offer. The series ended with the introduction of the new generation ninjas. However, not long before the end of the series, a new Naruto movie was launched in Japan featuring the return of an old nemesis. The plot summary of the movie is:
"The moon is beginning to fall, and at the rate it's going, it is doomed to fall on the Earth. The countdown for the survival of the planet begins. Among the havoc, Hinata's younger sister Hanabi is captured by the mysterious enemy, Toneri Ōtsutsuki, who mistakes her for the elder sister. Naruto must overcome great danger on a mission to save Hanabi and the world along with Hinata, Sai, Shikamaru, and Sakura. Finally realizing what and who he must protect, Naruto embarks on his final story."
With this amazing story line, Masashi Kishimoto will definitely have fans on their feet for more. This leads us to the good news to all Naruto fans. The latest Naruto Movie will definitely not be the last time you get to see your favorite Shinobi. The movie is said to be just the 1st part of the Naruto's New Era Opening Project or Naruto Shiniidai Kaimaku Purojekuto. In celebration of the 15 years of the series, Masashi Kishimoto had the project launched. Fans are to expect a spin-off book (Retsu no Sho),a Naruto stage play which is taking curiosity the social media with its character sneak peeks, a Jin no Sho which one of the Official Data books, an art exhibition, and a sequel mini-series. The mini-series is said to feature "A newly Budding Konoha Story". Masashi Kishimoto however, did not yet unveil as to how long the series will last. Also fans would need to wait for the amazing side-story novels of other Naruto World characters such as the mysterious Kakashi Hatake.
The sequel mini-series will be released on the Spring of 2015 and an upcoming movie on August 2015.
It was also rumored that Masashi Kishimoto will be working on a new manga after the Naruto Project. So expect a whole new world courtesy of the legendary manga-ka.
