Coming from the exciting yet vague spoilers that Rebecca Budig, an alumni of All My Children show, will land a role in the long-running TV series, General Hospital, producer of the show, Frank Valentini announced through Twitter that the show welcomes Rebecca with a 'killer new role'.
Spoilers and news first teased that Rebecca is headed to Port Charles. ABC's drama fans speculate the character literally is a killer or is a new character to make a debut in Port Charles.
The rumor that Rebecca will play the role of Robin Scorpion Drake follows after actress Kimberly McCullough earlier announced that she has no intention to return to the show, as she will prefer to focus on her other projects, She now directs another ABC Family's series Pretty Little Liars. McCullough joined General Hospital at the age of 7, beginning in 1985.
Various reasons were offered by fans as to why will Robin return to Port Charles. The last time she was seen was when she is blackmailed by Helena. But Helena is now locked up in jail cell, so the port is clear for Robin's return. Another reason is the budding relationship between Robin's husband Patrick and Sam Morgan. Considering Robin's type, this will be a perfect time for her to surprise the two, avenge and destroy whatever they are still trying to form.
Other spoilers for the series, General Hospital for 23 February show Olivia is happy of Ned's support on her pregnancy, while Alexis informs Julian on her doubts towards Ned's confessions.
