Drake is making the headlines nowadays not only for releasing his surprise album "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" but for topping the Billboard 200 on its debut. He also manages to beat Taylor Swift's 1989 on the said spot making him an instant "Man of the Hour" for the music industry.
His new album sold over than 495,000 copies during its first week of release a shy 5,000 away from the 500,000 figure sales predicted by industry insiders. Another surprising fact about the album is that it wasn't even studio recorded, so it was really a surprise for Drake and his production for being able to hit the top spot.
The surprise album was released last February 12 and was intended to be a mix tape, a sample and was not intended to be released as a complete album. Though the album was intended to be a mix tape, Drake was already making money from the download of his songs are getting from iTunes. Cash money decided to create an album out of it and the rest, as so they say was history.
Controversies are also revolving around Drake's album. On his self-composed single "Hold On, We're Going Home," is being linked to nothing but the demonic occult Illuminati. Drake is rumored to be another Illuminati follower who just managed to win over another fellow Illuminati, Taylor Swift.
Signs of being part of the growing number of music artists that are being linked to the Illuminati are quite numerous in his latest album. Many of the singles in the album has the numeral 6 in their titles. Some of them include "6 Man" and "You & the 6." Though these manifestations of the Illuminati claims to be untrue because Drake's fondness with the number 6 is being attributed to his obsession with Toronto's "416" area code. Whether the rumors are true or not, Drake still managed to make it to the number one spot.
