After the rumor of Jamie Dornan's shaky marriage with his wife, it seems that 'Fifty Shades of Grey' also has had a negative effect on Dakota Johnson and her relationship with Welsh model/musician Matthew Hitt. Recent report that the couple called it quits during the holidays because of the film.
US Weekly reported that an insider revealed that Dakota, who starred as Anastasia Steele, was having a hard time squeezing romance into her life and that Hitt also expressed his desire to move of her crazy life.
"Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of."
Others conjecture that the breakup was because of the actress' intimate and sexually-charged encounter with the oozing-with-hotness Jamie Dornan, but Perez Hilton pointed out that it was because of her hectic red carpet and press schedules.
The two reportedly started dating in December-that was right before the film's release-and decided to end the relationship during the holidays.
It may be an unlucky turn of events for Johnson, but Elle thinks "it wasn't a bad break" since as the spilt can become a real life inspiration for her new role in 'How to be Single.'
In her interview with Vogue, Dakota Johnson seemed to have understood already how 'Fifty Shades of Grey' is going to impact her life although it cannot be ascertain if that also means she had to give up some things in her life, which is her boyfriend as we now know.
"It's just the most insane thing to be a part of,' Dakota said. "I've never experienced anything like this; I don't think anyone has. It's terrifying-and it's exciting."
