Apple was previously reported to be working on its next iPhone model despite that it just released the IPhone 6 Plus a few months ago. To make things interesting, more rumors have emerged, suggesting the company’s different release schemes for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7.
Previous report mentions that Apple would most likely launch its next iPhone model in September. That means that either the iPhone 6s or the iPhone 7 will debut during that time. However, new rumors suggest that the iPhone 6s will be launched in spring along with the iWatch, while the iPhone 7 most probably in September this year.
According to one of Apple’s supply chain, the company is looking at a compressed six month release scheme in order to keep up with the Samsung’s frequent releases as well as to provide a boost to iPhone sales once the iWatch goew out on the market this spring. The only question now is if Apple is ready enough to speed things up.
To add color about Apple's next iPhone model, an iPhone 6c was also mentioned. The idea was brought up because the company released the iPhone 5c series more than a year ago. However, the people within Apple's supply chain say that there are no plans of it as of the moment.
Whether or not Apple would implement their shortened timetable for iPhone 6s and iPhone 7, it is still expected for the company to receive a bunch of criticisms from various tech analysts. Some mayview the scheme as an an overkill to its competitors, while others could say that the company is still not doing its best and it's way behind its competitors. Anyhow, it’s still early at this point for Apple to make its final decisions and it still has more considerations to put forth before making any actions.
