Episode 15 of Season 1 of "The Flash" is barely half a month away but it has already left its fan base with more than just a feeling of excitement and pleasure. The recent network promotional video, has made everyone gasped for air, as the characters of Dr. Wells and the team from S.T.A.R. Labs have all been placed in compromising situations within one another.
Quite evident in the video are the ominous bold captions that ran as: "THEY TRUSTED HIM", "THEY BELIEVED HIM", "BUT THEY NEVER SUSPECTED HIM" which are all sychronized with the shocked facial features of both Cisco and Dr. Caitlin Snow. This time around, Dr. Harrison Wells (played by Tom Cavanagh) has been given a surprisingly dramatic disclosure, for which everyone in S.T.A.R. Labs could not believed that the doctor will be involved with.
Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg has revealed that before the season ends for "The Flash", that an "endgame will happen" for the scientist. "Wells has a definitive plan. When you look back, you'll see he's had a definitive reason for doing all the things that he's done throughout the course of the season. We think it makes sense. Hopefully, you all will, too." Kreisberg further explains.
He also commended (Tom) Cavanagh's sly portrayal of the disgraced character. "Part of what's keeping these next stream of episodes going is how good at hiding his villainy Wells is, and how strong Tom [Cavanagh]'s performance is."
With the past episode covering almost every niche for a prime time story arc: a nuclear explosion, the of a death at the hands of an hyper-intelligent telepathic gorilla hybrid, a new character investigating about S.T.A.R. Labs investigation, and Barry and Martin having their own time travel theory, Warner Bros. Television has long decided to pull no punches before the big finale. "The Flash" episode 15 "Out of Time" will air on March 17.
