Game of Thrones will start its fifth season this coming April. For its fan base, nothing is quite as intriguing as a still photo of two of its most beloved characters, finally encountering each other.
It can be deduced immediately from the image that has both Tyrion and Daenerys together meant that the dwarf's unlikely alliance with Lord Varys has been a succesful scheme. To recall the recent first full Imax trailer, the "Master of Whispers" told Tyrion, that they now must support the name that is closest to Westeros and who controls a very vast army.
Alfie Allen who has astonishingly played three different roles in one body (as Theon Greyjoy, Reek, and Reek pretending to be Theon) during the past seasons, subtly disclosed in an interview with Digitaltrends that:
"I can tell you that there will be characters crossing paths and interacting - especially in my storyline - who have never met, or have had just minute amounts of screen time together. That relationship blossoms, and the running theme of Season 5 is that you get so many different characters who were in different parts of the world crossing paths with each other,"
To be noted, Allen's characters have never crossed-paths with any major players in the HBO series adaptation. Incidentally, author George R.R. Martin wasn't shy to say that the series has officially wandered off his books.
"People are going to die who dont' die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy," And continued to warn us viewers that. "Everybody better be on their toes. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are even bloodier than I am."
