An exciting season for the 'Dancing with the Stars" awaits as season 20 premieres this coming spring. It's the 10th anniversary of the show so Season 20 will welcome a lot of former stars from the previous seasons. Val Chmerkovskiy, one of the most celebrated cast of the show, will be back dancing once more together with a new celebrity partner.
Chmerkovskiy shares his views on being part of the show, "I have spot on the No. 1 show in the world doing what I love. When I think of the investment and sacrifice my parents made, having this is the greatest gift." Chmerkovskiy worked with Zendaya and Kelly Monaco in the past seasons of the series He never won in the past so dreaming of getting that mirror-ball trophy is still a dream for Chmerkovskiy waiting to come true.
Several names of the celebrity participants of the show were announced on Good Morning America last Tuesday. These celebrities include Patti LaBelle, R5 singer Riker Lynch, Michael Sam, Charlotte McKinney, Hunger games star Willow Shields, Suzanne Somers, Noah Galloway, Redfoo, Robert Herjavec, Nastia Luikin and Rumor Willis who happens to be Chmerkovskiy's dancing partner in the show. Witney Carson will also be part of the show with a mysterious partner that is not yet revealed by the media.
Professional dancers included in the show include Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Tony Dovolani, Kym Johnson, Emma Slater and Derek Hough.
Fortunately Derek Hough managed to twist his schedule to be part of the show. He is doing a show at Radio City Music Hall in New York and decided to fly back-and-forth between Los Angeles and New York to be able to compete and be a part of the show.
The show will be back on screens on March 16, Monday and will be hosted by Tom Bergedon on ABC.
