Oscar Pistorius Latest Update: Blade Runner to be convicted of murder? Amputee enjoys number of perks inside prison

By

Oscar Pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide. This was not music to the ears of Reeva Steenkamp's family. Just to give you an idea, culpable homicide is a lesser offense than murder. According to Steenkamp's, they are certain that Pistorius intentionally killed the stunning model. After all, she was complaining about her relationship with the athlete. Now, it seems that they can get the justice that they are looking for.

Based from one source, the state is still fighting to give Pistorius heavier charges. It may be possible that the Blade Runner will face a murder trial. Of course, his lawyers are already preparing for this battle. Once we get further updates on this, we will share the same with you.

Steenkamp's supporters would definitely want to see Pistorius suffer behind the bars. Imagine the sweat, the bland food and dirty toilets. However, according to one report, the athlete is not really having a hard time inside the jail. If you are one of the 'average' inmates, there are a lot of things which you will be deprived of. This includes hugging your visitors, wearing jewelries, or making phone calls outside. These things can be enjoyed by Pistorius. His family is grateful for the news. But it is safe to say that more people aren't happy about it.

The prison guard shared that they have allowed such to Steenkamp's killer as he was a good model to the other inmates. In fact, he doesn't mingle most of the time considering the violent environment behind bars.

If you can remember, Steenkamp was killed on Valentine's Day. It was supposed to be a romantic occasion. Sadly, she experienced the opposite. Until now, there are a lot of people who believe that Oscar Pistorius lied all throughout the trial. If indeed there's going to be another trial, let's hope we will be able to know the truth.
