“NCIS Los Angeles” Season 6 Spoilers, Recap: Deeks, Kensi postpone love affair, focus on work? Nepali Agent Thapa a player?

By

Bullets were constantly fired in the latest episode of the "NCIS Los Angeles" season 6, episode 16 entitled "Expiration Date." An elite Nepali soldier is summoned by the CIA to help Sam and Callen stop an international terrorist plot. Thapa, who seems to be a played right from the start, grew close with Deeks. Unfortunately, their friendship was immediately cut short as Thapa dies during a heated encounter with the terrorists.

Deeks is really falling deeply in love with Kensi but he knows that as professionals, a love story seems to be too farfetched to look forward too. But with Thapa backing him up with tips and tricks on how to handle women, he feels more confident. Unfortunately player Thapa seems to have thought him considerable disturbing courting tactics and died without even hinting Deeks that his courting styles might not actually work.

Thapa's death did not go in vain because he managed to take a bullet for Sam. Sam with scratches and bruises managed to use his "death" as he and the team went against the terrorists. Ella happens to be a spy and Thapa had the heart not to pull the trigger on her even with the truth revealed. Sam on the other hand was not his usual action-packed self in the episode. He chose to stay with Michelle and his children during a very important time in their family. He was just there but really not present during the whole airing of the episode.

Episode 17 of the series promises something different. "Savoir Faire" will focus on the death of three Afghanistan soldiers who were training in the US. Two other soldiers went missing as well and they will end up trespassing on classified military details to be able to locate the captors. Sam is back but the whole team is worried for him.

"NCIS Long Angeles" Season 6 airs every Monday night on CBS.
