With over 3.8 million viewers on the season finale of How to Get Away with Murder aired last February 26, ABC Network announced through a promo, the Season 2 of this pulse-wrecking TV series.
Yes, better enrol -- for Professor Annalise Keating will be back at the Middleton University in Philadelphia, fall this year. "Thank god we'll be back with a whole new season of insanity," notably revealed in the sneak peek.
The promo occurred right after the two-hour episode which is rare for ABC to do, although this anticipated renewal was not yet officially declared by the station. However, the promo is an expected revelation considering the 3.78 million viewers in the adults 18-to-49 this Shonda Rhimes-produced series drew. The series, even in only one season of airing ranked proudly amongst the Shondaland titans, Scandal and the veteran, Grey's Anatomy.
Fans and critics alike have their own set of speculations on what will come up with How to Get Away with Murder Season 2. One particular case is the theory on what could Frank owe Sam. In a recent interview conducted by The Hollywood Reporter, Viola Davis reveals that it is something she does not know in particular but gave hints that somehow it might be in order to "protect" Annalise.
Furthermore, Davis who has also contributed in her own rights to the formation of the complicated ploy in Murder tells that even if the notion that Annalise is somehow principally connected with the murder of Lila would surely raise intrigue to the story, our Professor confessed that she is yet to know how the entire story will unfold in Season 2.
"At this point, absolutely nothing. I have given suggestions just like the rape scene and the Cicely Tyson scenes. That's all me and character background that filled in. But in terms of plot, I don't know a lot. I hope they explore characters more and relationships more. I will certainly interject some ideas. You have to have the entry and the "Oh my God" moments."
