Carly Rae Jepsen is a no one-hit-wonder? The 29-year old Canadian singer who brought viral hit song 'Call Me Maybe' is really really really back with a new track and album that may surpasses her hit single in 2012. Furthermore, the music video of her current single 'I Really Like You' is reportedly features big names no less than Justin Bieber and Tom Hanks.

After hitting music scene by storm more than two years ago, Carly managed to avoid limelight. In a way, that stirred questions such as she's pressured to do follow-up hits or perhaps, she's a one hit wonder. On her fan page, Jepsen shared she's been staying in forests where there were dances and prince.

"I've been cocooned in my Soho apartment, sipping tea with artists so weird and wonderful only New York could keep them happy. I've been hiking to the tippy tops of LA peaks where I've said this out loud to no one: I'm ready," the Canadian Idol season 5 finalist's message.

Now that she's obviously ready and will try to conquer airwaves once again, Carly apparently has heavyweight backups starting with music producer Peter Svenson of The Cardigans and talent manager Scooter Braun.

"I told her that she couldn't come out with anything unless it was on the level of 'Call Me Maybe.' And, now we have a new one that is on that level." And in a new press release, Jepsen said of the new single, "Lyrically, it's about that time in a relationship when it's too soon to say 'I love you,' but you're well past, 'I like you' and you're at the 'I really, really like you' stage." Jepsen is, of course, correct: the 'I really, really like you" stage is one to be cherished," Braun said in his interview with Billboard.

Braun is reportedly behind Hanks' appearance in a music video shooting with Jepsen and Bieber Mondrian Hotel in Manhattan on February 16. Though it's not yet confirmed, but based on Twitter updates of two young Canadian artists that day the shoot was for 'I Really Like You' music video.

"Today was a great day. I need some rest :) #IReallyLikeYou video is gonna be amazing."

There's no date yet for Carly's album release, but the 'This Kiss' singer is collaborating with Jack Antonoff, Tegan and Sara, Ariel Rechtshaid, Max Martin for her new project. She's also slated to visit Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 5.
