The custody battle over Avery is heating up in General Hospital and fans are expecting new twists and turns in the plot following the big reveal that Ava is alive.
Last week, we witnessed how Michael Quartermaine narrated during his court interrogation the trauma he personally experienced in the hands of Sonny Corinthos. Michael also made clear that he is determined not to let baby Avery have the same fate. Also, Ric stressed that Sonny's actions are too much of a sacrifice and his (Michael's) foul accusations against Sonny were all merely for revenge. Talk about personal agenda!
Since last week, Julian has been confronting Michael about the custody but hopeful that they can temporarily reconcile to give way for the burial. However, it appears that this is just the tip of the iceberg of what Julian is truly up to.
It is quite apparent now that neither Julian Jerome nor his sister Ava (who was still thought-of as dead in the series) wants Michael or Sonny to have custody over Avery - but at this point what possible options do they have? What actions will both take from here?
On the other hand, Sonny, like Michael, is equally single-minded to win custody over his own child being Avery's biological father. His resolve sparked rumors that he will soon seek help from Morgan to finally end the court battle. Can Sonny win custody?
Many think so. Laura Wright who plays Carly Corinthos' role in General Hospital reveals from an insider in General Hospital Happenings, that if there is one true and honest thing about Sonny then that is "his love for his kids, and he (Sonny) doesn't see that he could lose her (Avery)."
Wright further added that Michael will do "exactly what Sonny would do" and this suggests that neither one will stop until the tug-of-war is won in their own favors.
However, one exciting yet the most possible scenario in this complicated plot is the kidnapping of the baby by Ava, the mother herself. This speculation has been cooking up real good for days now in Celeb Dirty Laundry and many fans see this highly probable.
