Star Wars' Princess Leia Gets A New Weapon And Her Very Own Comic Book

It is no longer a news flash that Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will be reprising their roles for the seventh installment in the Star Wars film series. On the other hand, what is quite rousing these past few days are the swelling details that Fisher as Princess Leia has now in her arsenal a new weapon that can favorable inflict physical damage even to the most important warships in the Galactic Empire.

With such a powerful weapon, Fisher's Princess Leia character seems to prove that she still is a powerful figure to contend with in the Rebel Alliance even 30 years after what had occurred in the 1983 movie, "Return of the Jedi". Leia has a secret or surprise plan and this concerns a mysterious weapon dubbed as "The Sledgehamer".

This unveiling takes place in the Map Room of the Rebel base in one of the scenes of the said movie. The Sledgehammer is described as "kamikaze-like craft", "a tough weapon", and "just crashes through capital starships, maybe even entire fleets". The princess has been noted to be enthusiastic about this ultimate weapon as it is poise to be the only factor that can tear down the Galactic Empire's also newly built weapon called the "Catapult".
