"Bates Motel" Season 3 will finally hit the air this March 9. Freddie Highmore reveals that fans can expect Norman Bates getting closer to the edge in the new season and they may expect him to resemble more the "Norman" from the "Psycho" movie.
As the production crew concludes the taping of Season 3, fans of "Bates Motel" are getting excited for the premiere of the show on March 9. Based on the latest teaser trailer, the new season is getting closer to the events of the "Psycho", the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock movie masterpiece.
Calton Cuse, the Executive Producer of "Bates Motel", revealed that "We're finally seeing Norman crack," adding that. "We're seeing the Norman Bates that maybe people are more familiar with starting to emerge."
Freddie Highmore, the actor who plays young Norman Bates, reveals more details on the transition of his character in "Bates Motel". According to him, Norman will have a different character compared to the previous seasons. He said that "For perhaps the first time in the whole series, we start to see Norman moving toward the endpoint that we know, and more and more of him reminds us of 'Psycho' the film, as opposed to the little boy that we encounter at the start of Season 1."
Norman getting closer to the "endpoint" will open up a lot of possibilities in the upcoming Season of "Bates Motel". Norman can be seen losing it all in the upcoming season which could lead to him murdering his own mother, as what has been indicated in the "Psycho" movie. Norma getting killed this season won't be the end of the show since she will still "live" inside Norman's head as what has been shown in the "Psycho" film.
"Bates Motel" Season 3 is scheduled to air this March 9 on A&E. Fans can expect Norman Bates getting closer to the edge as he succumbs to the "Mother" inside him. Stay tune for more updates!
