'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers: Liz is Primary Suspect in Murder, Red Sets Out to Prove Her Not Guilty

Fans of 'The Blacklist' are in for an exciting ride as Red tries to make use of his signature charm as well as his underworld connections to keep crime-fighting partner Liz out of jail! Red springs into action and embarks upon a mission to track down a dangerous former associate who may be the only person who can prove Liz’ innocence. He recruits Cooper (Harry Lennix) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) to help him find his suspect, who goes by the nom de guerre “The Major.”

Meantime, I Digital Times offered some more insights into the rest of Season 2 when it asked “who will die next?” The website states that based on its track record from its initial season, The Blacklist fans ought to look out for the death of another significant character towards the finale of its second season. Ailing Cooper is on the website’s short list characters who might wind up six-feet under before the season is through.

The same website also tried to address viewers’ speculations that Red will eventually reveal himself to be the father of Liz. Quoting lead actor Spader, who said in an interview with Variety that such a twist in the plot will simply be “too easy.”
