'Days of Our Lives' is losing one of its fairest as actress Chrishell Stause bids farewell to the cast of the enduring soap opera this week. Stause’ on-screen alter ego, gorgeous physical therapist Jordan Ridgeway also gets a fitting send-off that’s guaranteed to leave fans misty eyed.
Various sources seem to agree that Stause’ last air date on DOOL will be on March 9. She had an almost 2-year run in the show, having joined the cast in April 2013. "Chrishell Stause’ time on the NBC soap has come to an end,” Celebrity Dirty Laundry said about her rather sudden departure. There was no mention about the actress’ next endeavor.
Jordan, likewise, is all set to say her farewells to the other characters. Spoilers have it that Monday’s episode will have a lot to do with her goodbyes, and she will even have enough time to give someone a very stern warning!
DOOL fans remember that Jordan entered the complicated world of Salem as Rafe Hernandez’ (Galen Gering) physical therapist, not long after he was attacked. She came to take charge of his rehabilitation upon the recommendation of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). However, professional bounds soon came crumbling down when Rafe and Jordan got involved, much to the dismay of Kate!
Examiner says that the easiest thing for Jordan to do is to go somewhere new. Apparently she will be taking a job in Manhattan. Not before she shares one last warm moment with Rafe, though. Spoilers indicate that Rafe’s heart will be breaking as Jordan tells him that she has decided to go. He nonetheless encourages her to pursue the bright future that she deserves, even if she has to move to New York and away from his life. It was after all Rafe who blew things with Jordan when he slept with Kate!
Before she leaves, Jordan is also expected to confront her stepdad Clyde and make it clear to him that he must keep away from her brother, Ben. It is still in question whether or not Clyde is sincere about patching things up with stepson Ben, but clearly Jordan has made up her mind about him.
