Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio's dating rumors are not likely to die anytime soon as the "Diamonds" singer is reportedly in talks for a role in the "Wolf of Wall Street" star's upcoming film, "The Crowded Room."
DiCaprio will play the lead role of Billy Milligan, a schizophrenic criminal with multiple personalities, in the suspense thriller movie. Rihanna, on the other hand, is being lined up to play the part of one of his victims, according to Mirror.
"Leo has been working intensely on this project and chatting about it with Rihanna and they both think it would make sense for her to be in the movie," a source close to the couple revealed. "They want to spend as much time together as possible and this would be a huge bonding experience as she's already been helping with his research into the character."
Media outlets have been speculating for weeks now that the "Titanic" actor and the "Umbrella" hit-maker are an item after being spotted together on several occasions. The duo's romance rumors started in January when they both attended a birthday bash at the Playboy Mansion, and shortly thereafter joined another birthday party held at a West Hollywood hotel, the Los Angeles Times reported.
However, the rumors really picked up after the two were snapped together at Rihanna's 27th birthday bash last February 21 held at James Goldstein's Beverly Hills mansion. The photo shows the pair standing side by side while lighting what seem to be hand-rolled cigarettes, E! News said. Despite the several sightings, this was the first time the two have been actually photographed together.
According to sources, the pair were seen "kissing, touching and dancing with each other" at RiRi's private bash, which was attended by other high profile guests as well including Beyonce and husband Jay Z, Naomi Campbell and Russell Simmons. Other sources confirmed that DiCaprio and Rihanna did not act "couple-y" but were "definitely flirty and dancing."
However, DiCarprio's rep denied the romance rumors on Tuesday, stating the actor "is single and has been for some time," according to LA Times. Rihanna's rep, on the other hand, has yet to comment on the matter.
