It is just a few months to go before the release date of Jurassic World. The production company behind the film had already revealed not just one but two footages and more pieces of information from the science fiction adventure film which only teased their fan base.
Two characters from the cast line-up have been given emphasis in the recent updates. One is the character played by French actor, Omar Sy. According to director Collin Trevorrow, Sy is (Chris) Pratt's assistant in training and administers physical care for the Velociraptors. "I wrote the role specifically for Omar, I'm a huge fan, I spent a lot of time in France, my wife is French.." Sy is noted for the 2011 French comedy-drama film, which Trevorrow ingeniously commends in Preview.
The director also concluded that there is a great scene with Vincent D'Onofrio where Omar speaks French to the Velociraptors. The character of D'Onofrio pretends to understand but in fact he does not understand. Speaking of D'Onofrio, he will be portraying the head of security operations for Ingen as Vic Hoskins. His catchphrase for the film is "safety without condition (and) vision without limitation".
"Jurassic World" had always been laid out as a trilogy from the very beginning. In an official post from their blog site, it has been declared that a sequel is already on the works. An early principal photography for this undertaking is expected especially with the upcoming film already in its concluding process.
In related news, actor Chris Pratt who plays the lead role of Owen Grady, is rumored to be a part of an all-male Ghostbusters movie along with Channing Tatum. The said movie will be directed by the Russo Brothers. Jurassic World is based on characters created by author Michael Crichton. Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures will be releasing the film on June 12, 2015.
