We are still nine months away from the premiere 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' but we cannot but help check in every now and then just to get even the tiniest update regarding the most anticipated film of 2015. Let us take this time to review everything that we have learned about the upcoming blockbuster so far:
The Star Wars Leaks
One of the most significant news about 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' this year was that of the alleged leaks that were posted online by Making Star Wars, a website dedicated to providing fans the latest updates about the movie. The spoilers from these leaks revealed a lot of things about the film's plot, including the death of Han Solo, the fate of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia becoming Queen, Rey's identity, and many more. Director J.J. Abrams has made a statement regarding the leaks, saying that some of the plot details given were indeed true, though he refused to say which.
Harrison Ford Accident
Last year, Harrison Ford suffered an accident while on set, which had fans worried that film production was going to be delayed because of the incident. Fortunately, Ford got back on track a month after and the filming kept going on. Recently though, it was reported that Harrison Ford once again suffered an unfortunate incident after the World War II-era plane he was flying crashed in a golf course. And while it was reported that Ford is now recovering from the injuries he received from the crash, fellow cast member Carrie Fisher believes that the mishap may have something to do with the infamous "Star Wars curse."
Second Star Wars Trailer
One of the more recent stories about the epic space opera sequel is another alleged leak of its second trailer, according to Game n Guide. The trailer allegedly features new scenes, more shots of landscapes and structures, as well as an appearance by the original cast members. There has been no official statement about the next trailer, so the best thing to do is to take these reports with a grain of salt.
'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' opens on theaters on December 18, 2015.
