Taylor Swift isn't just the queen of billboard hits; she can also insure her legs in a dramatic amount.

Swift was reported to insure her long, leaned legs for $40 million. The amount was rendered after she and her team had to inquire on the possibility of her legs being injured from any injury, and the insurer appraised those log legs for a $40 million worth. The singer even got embarrassed upon learning of the worth of her legs. She just expected around a million, but for her, $40 million is too much.

Swift and her team got into a possibility of her leg insurance after realizing the worth of her legs in her performances. For them, if her legs would not be insured, $200 million might be loss if something terrible happen to Swift's legs. So she and her team did not bother to look at the insurance as a lucrative sum but rather as a security for Swift's singing and performance career.

Swift's team are now preparing all necessary documents for her legs insurance before the start of her global tour in May. Just days after the news of her insured legs broke out; Swift hit the public eye displaying her magnificently-insured long legs for a shopping trip at Melrose Avenue. The singer showed up wearing a pair of tiny hot pants paired with sky-high heels.

She was also seen shopping again, this time, in California, wearing a cropped black top with a pair of high-waist army green hot pants and high heels. Swift said before that being in New York made her feel more pressure to dress-up good. For her, the ambiance of the place motivates her to look good every time she step-out.

Swift isn't the first celebrity to insure their body part/s. Model Heidi Klum also insured her legs for $2 million, while Mariah Cary had her legs insured for a billion-dollar worth of policy in 2006. David Beckham got his athletic legs insured for about £100 million. Famous bums of Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Minogue were also insured for $27 million and $5.9 million, respectively.

Some crazy insurance policies were also made in favor of these celebrities like Tom Jones, who insured his chest hair for $7 million, Julia Roberts insured her perfect smile for $30 million, and Merv Hughes insured his trademark handlebar moustache for around $370K.

Celebrities like singers Bruce Springsteen and Rod Stewart, both insured their vocal chords for $6 million as a protection for their singing performances and career. Daniel Craig anticipated the weight of the action stunts in his movie Quantum of Solace, prompting him to insure his whole body for $9.5 million.

Bette Davis also insured her tiny waist for $28,000, while Dolly Parton insured her 40DD chest for $587,000.
