Battlefield's next release switches to cops, patrol cars and the dirty streets of Los Angeles. EA with Visceral Games create a new world of heists, crimes and a lot of vehicle chases on land, sea and air.
Recently, Visceral Games released a trailer of Battlefield Hardline that may not receive the feistiest of welcomes but that does not diminish the franchise's destructive fire power. Moreover, an online gaming site forecasts that the move from the military environ to smaller, closely packed ghettos in Los Angeles may just what fans need to rekindle the lukewarm reception of recent Battlefield franchise.
The trailer video shows the mix and match gameplay from both single and multiplayer highlights on the action-packed robber-cop chase that ends in explosion, guns and more explosions. EA and Visceral develop the new Battlefield Hardline with the intent of creating the fastest Battlefield to date. Quite predictable, comments Cinemablend.
Criminals need to get into a high-speed chase or else it will defeat the story's main attraction. Tin effects, the whole concept now becomes close to the Grand Theft Auto or APB: Reloaded experience.
However, many remark that the launch of Battlefield Hardline is ill-timed since Rockstar just revealed the release this year of the anticipated and long overdue GTA V. Visceral is surely into a rigid competition with another gaming giant.
On a different note, Battlefield Hardline, nonetheless shows noteworthy favorable feedback compared to EA and Visceral's beta release in the summer of 2014. Many were disgruntled to see insignificant changes from its predecessors that did not justify a $60 price.
Visceral Games, in response to a Twitter inquiry from a fan clarifies that the game will not run at 1080p but 720p for Xbox One and 900p for the PS4 version; and both versions has 60 frames per second. A bit disappointed by the response, recall that this is not the first game to fall short of the 1080 ideal and the creators are expected to comment on this in the days to come.
Battlefield Hardline will be available next week, March 17.
