It's time to move forward for residents of Genoa City as The Young and the Restless ends this week with settlements, confessions and making up. However, these confessions might lead to a disaster one more time. Kelly makes a confession. Hilary wants answers from Devon. Lauren talks to Michael. Dylan opens up to Sharon. Jack and Phyllis advance their relationship. Summer learns the truth about Austin.
Meanwhile, Austin (Matthew Atkinson) just faked her death and will surface. He plans out to frame Summer or Abby of his death. In the course of Austin's disappearance, he has been accused of having an affair with Abby (Melissa Ordway) and working on a documentary to expose the Newmans.
Yesterday's episode show Victor (Eric Braeden) telling unknown identity in the confessional that he has been fighting a decade-old war with Jack (Peter Bergman), while at the end of it all Jack loses. Victor told his co-conspirator to be patient and everything will turn out that they both want the war to end.
At Crimson Lights, Avery (Jessica Collins) got an emergency and cancelled going bowling with Dylan (Steve Burton). It turned out Joe (Scott Elrod) showing up in town for business and holding a box he said will make Avery happy, while letting Dylan take a look inside the box and gave him distraction. Avery opened it to find her wedding dress. She told Dylan for the record that the dress belonged to her grandmother and she intends on keeping it. After bringing up Sharon (Sharon Case) and making some snide comments, Avery will leave as Joe watches.
Paul (Doug Davidson) encouraged Christine (Lauralee Bell) to stop working so hard and give herself a good rest. Christine has been working her case with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to bring Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to prison for her actions. Paul and Christine agreed to stay in the club until they move on from the couple's loss when she had miscarried her baby.
Nikki had a heated discourse with Neil (Kristoff St. John) regarding the car jam. Neil felt guilty of killing Christine's unborn baby. Nikki told him though to stick to the story or the police will find out she lied so none of them shall be put to jail.
After Neil left, Victor became suspicious if Nikki and Neil were in an argument, adding if Neil was to be blamed for the accident. Nikki was caught off-guard. She called Neil and messaged him for the AA meeting.
At the club, Lily (Christel Khalil gave Devon (Bryton James) about their father's involvement in the car accident. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon's affair took the discussion at the end. Devon felt guilty and wanted to help his step dad. Victor saw Neil being drunk again and convinced him to go home. Neil admitted that he killed Christine's baby.
The Young and the Restless airs from Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
