Apple TV 2015 Release, Price Fall $69: 4th Generation Features 4K Display, AirPlay, Home Sharing, and More

It was a long wait for Apple fans with the update of the Apple TV since January 2013. Finally, some news has finally focused on the Apple TV. Recently, many rumors had come out with the new version of the Apple TV, Apple's set-top box. This rumor had given birth to the Apple TV 4th Generation.

Many Apple fans had watched over the Apple Watch Launch Event for any updates regarding the 4th Generation Apple TV, however, the news they had received were that of a reduced price for the device. From $99 in the US, its price now reaches to $69. It was announced that that the HBO Now service will be made available to the Apple TV.

For those who are wondering what the Apple TV is, here is a brief introduction to the device according to MacWorld. The Apple TV is a tiny box which is less than 10cm2 that may be attached to your TV set and could connect to the internet wirelessly to enable users to access films, TV Series and even the iTunes store. It may also allow you to subscribe to Netflix for the price of £5.99 a month and to other sites like Now TV, Vimeo and YouTube at £79.

Though the following features may be found also in other streaming devices, Apple offers a feature that is only unique to Apple TV (The Fuse Joplin). One of those features is the AirPlay which enables the device to stream directly from the iPad, Mac, or iPhone. It also has this Home Sharing Feature which allows users to share iTunes media library with multiple devices. So in these matters, Apple TV is unselfish.

The 4th Generation Apple TV will also feature a 4K or Ultra High Definition. This would provide a better resolution to its users. It could also support iOS games and social networks which would definitely be a hit to its users. It would also come with an integrated storage and live TV recording.

Apple TV is expected to be released on the Autumn of 2015.
