HBO has revealed the titles of the first 3 episodes of the blockbuster TV series, Game of Thrones; and although the storyline are not known yet, the basic plot is readily inferred by fans from the book itself.
The Game of Thrones titles reveal the show's focus on the Others and Jon Snow's rise to power as he becomes the leader of the Nights Watch is something fans should not miss. Speculations mention two kings that will pave way for Jon's power. One could be Stannis who aims to officially make Jon a Stark and other one could be Roose, acting as the Warden of the North.
The first three episodes center on the conspiracy to overthrow the Lannisters and place power in the hands of the Targaryens. As for Tyrion's fans, recall that he was taken to meet Danerys to be his adviser, hence it is still difficult to say if much of the plot revolves around him.
Different from the previous seasons, show fillers such as travels are being cut off to give way to a more complex and compact plot. More complexities are also developing surrounding the threats towards Danerys as the Sons of the Harpy and the alliance comprised of the Slaver citizens loom a revolution.
The second episode focuses on Arya, which by the way, was overhauled to a completely feminine ensemble. In episodes 1 and 2, Arya enters the House of Black and White and begins her assassin training. Also, now that Lannister is gone, King Landing may start running things soon but not without opposition. Characters from the High Sparrow are introduced and clash between and Cersei and Margarey is looming. Margarey becomes more and more apprehensive and even terrified over the loss of her control and influence on Tommen.
Also, the new season sees the end of the relationship of Cersei and Jamie. Moreover, to add to the hurdle she already faces, Cersei will face the revenge of the Sand Snake for the death of Oberyn.
Game of Thrones premiers April 12.
