While the week is more than halfway through, the action is just getting started on General Hospital. Fans can expect mob rivalries to reach the boiling point while those caught in the middle can expect a hailstorm of trouble.
Official teasers reveal that the underworld turf war in Port Charles is about to take a nasty turn later in the week. Julian (William DeVry) will attempt to make good on his vow to take down Sonny (Maurice Benard), and possibly Duke (Ian Buchanan) too. It seems that he will be counting on Jake to carry out the assassinations for him. Little does he know, however, that Jake is already a government informer who is just looking for an opening to infiltrate the Jerome family.
Meantime, Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will run into someone that he thinks he recognizes, but he remains unsure. While engaging a mystery patient, he finds something familiar with the way Jake Doe (Billy Miller) talks, especially when he blurts out the very distinctive phrase, “that’s very Jason Morgan-esque.” Will he dig deeper or will he let it pass? If he does decide to go snooping even more, what will he discover?
Spoilers have it that Jake will be getting an unexpected visit before the week comes to a close. Little is known as to who will be calling on Commissioner Slone’s latest snitch, but this visit may turn out to be important down the road. Viewers can also expect Ric to ask Elizabeth point blank if she still harbors feelings for Jake.
For those who can’t help but get a jump on next week’s drama, teasers indicate that Sonny and Jake will finally come face to face. It is known that the boss of the Corinthos Family is already aware that Jake is working with authorities. Will their meeting spell curtains for Jake?
Other matters that will transpire early next week (March 16) include a discussion about the Nurse’s Ball by Lucy and Sabrina. Also, resurrected Ava will be asking Silas for a yet unknown favor. Finally, Anna will be expressing concern about Jordan’s safety.
