New events for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokemon Shuffle" have been announced over the Internet. Among these would be the Special Battle Season 9, which would run from March 17 to May 15.
The standard rules for the previous seasons would be followed; there would only be single battles; and only "native generation 6" Pokemon from "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," as well as Pokemon transferred from Pokemon X and Y" would be allowed in the battles.
Add to that, any Pokemon from the National Pokedex could be used; but, they would have to be at level 50. For Pokemon that would go beyond level 50, these would be downgraded for the battles. The battles would only last for 10 minutes. Trainers would have 30 seconds to choose their Pokemon and 15 seconds would be given for turn selection.
Meanwhile, a new video trailer for the Pokemon movie featuring Hoopa was discovered by some avid fans. The clip showed Hoopa very mischievous and playful. However, there would be a dark side to this seemingly carefree character as it would be able to summon legendary Pokemon. The problem was when Hoopa started summoning legendary Pokemon with the use of its hoops; these monsters being the mighty giants they were created to be, started fighting each other in the middle of the city.
On the other hand, Pokemon trainers who would want to get another exclusive catch through "Pokemon Shuffle," now would be a good chance at getting Kyogre. Trainers would be able to catch this legendary Pokemon between March 9 and March 23; however, trainers were advised that Kyogre would not be available in the regular gameplay of "Pokemon Shuffle."
Pokemon trainers who would be able to catch Kyogre would be able to take advantage of its Rock Break skill in their battles. Rock Break skill would be able to "destroy one breakable-rock disruption without fail," based on the Pokemon website.
