It looks like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are only a few steps from finalizing their divorce and they have just sold their $9M worth Bel Air pad in Los Angeles, California. Also Nick demands detailed accounting of how much he gets and threatens with a lawsuit.
It was reported that Nick is far from pleased that Mariah's manager, Michael Kane, sold the house to an amount that he did not concede with nor his team, reported Classiclite.
In view of this, the 'America's Got Talent' host has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Mimi. He contested that the house was sold to an amount less than what was initially agreed on purpose.
Nick added that the sale is not the issue. He is only upset about how Kane failed to keep him updated, and he's most concerned about the division of the cash.
The lawsuit reads that Cannon did not give his authorization that the Bel-Air would only be sold for $9 million. He also accuses Kane of dealing it exclusively with the team of his ex-wife, asserting that he has no knowledge about it until after the fact, TMZ reported.
While it is true that the house was originally tagged with $12,995,000 worth in February of last year, Kane thinks that Nick has no substantial basis for the lawsuit and that he is simply a desperate man.
Mariah and Nick bought the property for $6.975 million from audio engineer and producer Allen Sides. The original owner of the mansion was 'Charlie' Angels' star Farrah Fawcett, who lived in it for 2 decades. She sold it to Sides for $2.7 million, reported Variety.
The multi-winged mansion is nearly 12,000 square feet with fully furnished six bedrooms and six full and three half bathrooms stationed throughout its three floors. The house boasts of luxurious amenities like a home theater, game room, recording studio, and a basketball court, among others.
Do you think Nick Cannon is being reasonable to sue his soon to be ex-wife Mariah Carey about the house sale? Is there any hope that the couple will be able to restore their marriage? Tell us what you think.
