According to TMZ, a call was made on Wednesday detailing the crime scene. However, this was declared as 'swatting'. Since Lil Wayne is well known and such threats are not impossible, a team went to his house.The authorities were dead serious about it that they have already formed themselves outside the mansion. Apparently, everything was just a hoax.

Lil Wayne's team revealed that the rapper was not inside his grand beach home when this 'prank' happened. In fact, Lil Wayne tweeted 'Prank call mane'. This suggested that the call was indeed a big joke.

So the big question now is, who made that disturbing call? And why did he do that? Is it someone who would like to put the Lil Wayne's name in bad light? Or is he someone who just wanted to share the spotlight? His fans are itching to find the culprit. One of them even called the caller an 'idiot'. Quite frankly, he really is. For whatever reason, he shouldn't bug the authorities and create such a massive scare!
