Has Kylie Jenner taken her obsession to have "the perfect face" too far? Or is this a sign of insecurity? Kylie Jenner, who is only 17 years old, reportedly had six plastic surgeries over the last few years to supposedly feed her obsession of having the "perfect face" among the Kardashian sisters.
Radar Online claimed the TV reality star pleaded with her mom, Kris Jenner, to allow her to go through the knife. Eventually, Jenner gave in. Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian brood, reportedly got a breast augmentation, an eyebrow lift, upper eyelid surgery, a chin implant, jaw reshaping, and a nose job.
However, why is Kylie Jenner so obsessed with plastic surgery? Dr. Carole Lieberman, a psychiatrist, tells Hollywood Life that Keeping Up with the Kardashians star thinks that is essential for her to have these procedures done in order to get attention and compete with her older sisters.
The renowned media psychiatrist said: "The main problem for Kylie is that she is having to compete with older sisters who've already made their fame and fortune from being seen as gorgeous and sexy. If Kylie had been born into a normal family, it's unlikely she would have felt she needed to get plastic surgery at such a young age. But there is the tremendous pressure of sibling rivalry and she feels she's competing for the love of the world."
Dr. Lieberman also claimed that Kylie Jenner sees plastic surgery as a means of finding her own identity. "Kylie never saw surgery as being taboo, because her sisters have all done it and she sees it as a means to an end."
"Kylie's finding an identity and she's feeling left out. That's her biggest fear - that she will be left out. The plastic surgery and dating the much older bad boy rapper both show the same things, she wants attention and her share of it. She wants to get at least as much attention or more than her sisters and that is a very challenging thing to deal with," revealed Dr. Carole Lieberman.
