Producer Kurt Sutter is set to create another hit.
After his successful project, "Sons of Anarchy", Sutter will join the production team of the series, "The Bastard Executioner". Not only will he be behind the cameras, but he also landed a role in the cast.
Sutter is set to join "The Bastard Executioner" stars Lee Jones, Stephen Moyer, Flora Spencer-Longhurst, and Sutter's wife, Katey Sagal. Sutter will play the role of The Dark Mule, whose face rarely speaks and is seen by no one.
Recently, French model Matthieu Charneau was reported to join the cast by playing Ventris' servant.
The one to play Ventris, a role which is rumored to be important in the show, is not yet known and the production team is still looking for the right guy.
"The Bastard Executioner" is led by newly discovered Australian actor, Lee Jones.
Production for "The Bastard Executioner" will start on March 19 in Wales. Paris Barclay will direct its pilot episode. Reports suggest the FX show will air this coming fall.
The series is about the story of Wilkin Brattle, a warrior knight of King Edward I. Wilkin vowed to leave his violent life of fighting but was forced to abandon this decision after nuisance followed him back.
Sutter just revealed that the show's supposed logo, which he posted in his Instagram account. He comments that he is into the bloody details of the logo.
On his Twitter account, Sutter earlier posted the show's actor wall where he listed all the stars who have a role in the show and the role they will play.
Among them are Kyle Rees, who will play Calo Caine; Martin McCann as Randolph Corset; Alun Raglan as Jonas the Collector; Alec Newman as Leon Tell, Elen Rhys as Petra Brattle; Ifan Huw Dafydd as Jacob; and Lyr Ifans as Reeve.
