Despite of their EXO-M members Kris and Luhan's departure last year, the show must go on with hit K Pop boy band EXO. In their 'EXO Planet #2: EXO'luXion' concert series in Seoul, the band showcased eight songs that's according to some reports will release on March 30. Do Luhan and Kris have good news too in relation to their dispute with SM Entertainment?
Excited EXO followers got bonus in watching EXO'luXion as the group performed 'Promise,' 'Call Me Baby,' 'El Dorado,' 'Exodus,' 'Full Moon,' 'Hurt,' 'Playboy,' and 'My Answer.' Though band's talent arm SM Entertainment doesn't confirm it yet, these songs are part of their upcoming album and reportedly will come out at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, the concert had unfortunate moments when two members of the group left the show early due to injuries. According to Hollywood Take, Tao and Kai experienced injuries separately while entertaining their fans. HT shared fans who took to Twitter their observations in the middle of watching their favorite boy band. Some of the fans imparted that the two singers were already missing during 'Growl' production number. In addition to this, there's also an uploaded video that captured when he fell down on stage.
Meantime, Kris and Luhan who left the group separately in 2014 and are now battling for their contracts with SM Entertainment. The two singers already enjoying big projects outside the band and South Korea, but SM's appeals in China and Hong Kong courts hampering any of their activities. In International Business Times' story, the next court-ordered mediation of Kris and Luhan's camps in with SM's legal counsel in South Korea will happen on March 27.
The said mediation that came before SM lawsuits against Kris and Luhan in China and Hong Kong, becomes a series of court meetings for the two singers. Their March 27 mediation, it will be Luhan's fourth attempt to settle his dispute, while its Kris fifth try.
"SM used massive amounts of resources to turn EXO into one of the best artists in the world. Kris and Luhan left the group without sufficient reason as soon as the team gained fame and ignored contracts, trust and ethics and pursued their own profit. This action betrayed the trust between them and the company as well as the members. This action is also an abuse of the legal system, " a part of SM's official statement on their lawsuits filed in China gathered by SBS Pop Asia.
"The exclusive contract between SM with Kris and Luhan are in effect until the final decision is made in court. Therefore we plan to hold them responsible for all their illegally carried out activities in that duration. Also any solitary actions that brings in profit are an infringement of their contract. We will make sure they are held legally responsible for such actions."
