General Hospital welcomes a new vixen rumored to go in between the romance of Liz Webber and Jake Doe and this ploy is said to be Ric's. What is he up to this time?
After Liz confesses to Ric about her feeling to Jake; Ric develops a vicious plan to compromise the Jake and Liz's budding romance. Recall that Ric may just be capable of just everything; he has kidnapped, lied and punished all of those who has hurt him. Rumor has it that Ric is out to send General Hospital's new recruit Rebecca Budig as Jake's lost wife.
Jake cannot deny Bailey. Thanks to her part played well. Moreover, since she appears brunette, Jake finds her almost the same as the person she has in his dreams and flashbacks, which fans all know as his real wife, Sam Morgan. Bailey immediately makes move to convince Jake that she is his long lost wife and is longing for her missing husband. She enters Jake's room but Jake, who remains dubious, refuses the offer. Nonthless, Liz witnesses Bailey out of Jake's room and naked; this makes her think something happened between the two.
However, Ric may not completely succeed in his plans. Nikolas Cassadine who knows Jake's real identity sees thru Bailey. Will he also know the person behind Bailey's attempt to convince Jake? Now, Nikolas uses his cleverness as he confronts Bailey and at the same time, makes sure Jake's identity is not divulged.
Out of confusion, Jake seeks Sam's refuge. Sam discovers that Bailey is not as all his wife nor the woman in his flashbacks. Also, Sam further uncovers that Bailey acts at Ric's orders. It looks like Ric becomes the main attraction in the spider web he has woven. Although we know Ric as the man who never give up, as soon as Liz knows of Sam's revelation he will lose whatever hope he has over her. Ric thinks Nikolas is behind all of the revelation and confronts him. Will Jake's real identity finally be revealed as Ric digs up Nikolas and in the process reveals Jake's secret?
Things get worst as speculations see Ric murdered. Ric longs list of foes finds it difficult to ascertain who will kill him.
