Matt Bomer will star opposite Lady Gaga in the television hit series "American Horror Story: Hotel".

Bomer's inclusion in the much awaited Season 5 of the horror anthology series was announced at the end of American Horror Story‘s Paley Fest panel.

E News Online, meanwhile, reported that Jessica Lange, the lead star of the first four instalments of the horror TV series, officially confirmed that she is leaving the franchise.

Hollywood Life claimed that 20th Century Fox Television, the producer of the show, is still mum about the details on Bomer's character. Bomer has already guested in the most recent "Freak Show" series of "American Horro Story" where he appeared as a prostitute who was murdered by Dandy (Finn Wittrock).

The "Magic Mike" actor worked previously with "American Hotel Story" creator Ryan Murphy on Fox's "Glee" and HBO's "The Normal Heart" where he won a Gloden Globe. "I love collaborating with Ryan Murphy," Bomer said.

Variety reported that when asked if his and Lady Gaga's character will have a romantic involvement in the TV series, Bomer said "I can't confirm nor deny that there will be a romantic relationship with her."

This is Bomer's first major appearance in television since his six-season starring on USA's White Collar. He will also be returning as Ken in the "Magic Mike" sequel, "Magic Mike XXL".

Entertainment Weekly reported that Cheyenne Jackson will also be joining Season 5 of "American Horror Story".

Jackson had a short stint on "Glee" as Dustin Goolsby, the coach of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline. He also starred in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Ugly Betty".

"I did Glee in Season 2, so I knew Ryan a bit," Cheyenne said.

He added that he still has no idea on what will be his role in the horror TV series. "About six onths ago, (Ryan) talked to me and I said it's my absolute favorite show on television. I'm really, really excited. I'm absolutely nervous, but I'm really excited."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will begin production on the 13-episode season in the late summer and premiere on FX in October.
