Sims 4 PC, Mac DLC Adds 3 New Playable Career Routes, Retail Business Openings on Earlier March 31 Release

Electronic Arts has confirmed an earlier release of The Sims 4 'Get to Work' DLC this March 31 following April 2015 promotion earlier last week that will be available in both PC and Mac editions.

According to the Otaku's Study, an update from Electronic Arts this weekend announced an an early release, and pushed forward to launch two weeks away. Fans of the game have been used to to changes in arrival dates of a new expansion, however, an early release is quite a nice surprise.

The Sims 4 Get to Work is the first full-scale expansion pack since the game's release last year and offers to take up three new career routes which have enterable lots as well as the player's actions have an impact on their job performance.

These three career paths include doctor, scientist and detective which share the same elements of the pack to The Sims 3: Ambitions that allow players to take on careers as architectural designers, firefighters, ghost hunters, investigators and stylists.

The science career is seen to be the most interesting where scientists can mix chemicals and experimeint potions on themselves, or on other Sims which could lead into physical or emotional disaster.

The detective career is also exciting features possible danger, though, unlike in Sims 3: Ambitions detective, it is much more detailed. Sims can go inside the police station, mingle with others and do the steps of investigating and solving crimes and book criminals.

The new DLC of The Sims 4 also enables players to open their own retail stores like they could in The Sims 2: Open For Business.These retail store businesses can be founded and run as retail outlets, boutiques, bakeries and a photography studio.

Get to Work expansion pack is out March 31 as first DLC for The Sims 4 since its release last year.
