Apple showed technological dominance in terms of innovation after the release of Apple Watch and the long-awaited 12-inch Retina MacBook; now the company plans to dominate the world of smartphones in terms of sales. In a recent report, iPhone sales just keeps on increasing even after the holiday peak.
According to other sources, Morgan and Barclays, Apple will hit a sale of 54 million on the second quarter this year, a 24% increase from their sales in the same quarter last year. Analysts agree that if the Morgan and Barclays projection comes true, then Apple is on its way for a record-breaking sale for 2015. To date, Apple sold 74.5 million iPhones alone and declared earnings totaling to $18 billion and with the revenue of $74.6 billion.
"The iPhone is growing stronger than ever," Apple CEO Tim Cook declares during the Spring Forward Event last March 9.
To these magnificent sales records, China, the company's largest market outside the United States contributed a sale of $16.1 billion or roughly, 70%. Many speculate that Apple's success in China is brought about by the brand perception among Chinese. Apple plans to open more stores in China this 2015.
Furthermore, during the Spring Forward event, Apple CEO attributes increased sales with the company's continued pursuit for excellence. Cook claims that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have 99% customer satisfaction rate, a proof that the technological giant dominates.
Fearless forecasts by Strategy Analytics highlight that iPhone is not the only star behind Apple's projected sales increase. Apple Watch will also play a pivotal part. Strategy Analytics projects that Apple will sell 15 million Apple Watch for 2015 alone and sales will balloon from 4.6 million to 28.1 million this year.
In the same report, the phenomenal sale of the Apple Watch will not only stimulate competition of smartwaresa among other players, but will put the company in the position to continually upgrade the Apple Watch to perfection.
