The world's phenomenal game, 'Minecraft', debuts on TV this weekend with its first well-received documentary film dubbed as 'Minecraft:The Story of Mojang' to feature the game and its historic milestone.
Fusion has announced that the documentary will air on Sunday at 8 p.m. eastern time as a a two-hour TV event and will be followed by 'Talking Minecraft' show that will explore 'Minecraft' even deeper than the documentary, according to Gamespot report.
'Minecraft: The Story of Mojang' is produced by 2Player Productionso and raised fund initially for the film from a Kickstarter campaign that was originally released in 2012.
The documentary features the story of 'Minecraft's incredible transformation from a game with poor graphics to a smash game hit that earned the game developer a whopping $2.5 billion payout from Microsoft.
At present, a 'Minecraft' movie is under way and a 'Minecraft' convention called Minecon replicating ComicCon is coming this summer.
Last month, 'Minecraft' PC version makes a record of 1 million people playing the game at the same time.
Meanwhile, 4J Studios has recently released 'Minecraft' title update 22 followint the launch of TU21 February 11 since more bugs have been brought in which need to be removed by the new patch.
The console version developer has published a post on the official forums listing down all known bugs in TU21 such as the following:
- Pistons are not placing correctly - Standing 2/3 blocks away (Depending on the direction) from the piston will allow the piston to be placed correctly.
- Players fall through the ground while riding a boat on land
- Items can't be quick moved while riding a horse - This also happens on PC but should be a quick fix.
- Trust Player options need to updated to include Leads/Horses
- Minecarts falls through blocks when being pushed up by Pistons
- Mining Animation is incorrect - We are aware of this issue and we are looking at ways to improve this.
- Lapis Lazuli texture is incorrect (Changed in 1.6.1)
- Passive mobs continue walking when they are more than 32 blocks away.
- Random water source blocks when water is being dispensed - As shown by Mumbo Jumbos Mob farm.
- Disabling "Fire Spreads" causes fire to never extinguish.
The game dev then issued Minecraft title update 22 to the 360 version and CU10 for the Xbox One last week of February to fix things from piston placement issues to the hit box size on baby zombies.
