As Destiny brings excitement this week for the new Nightfall and Heroic weekly challenges to complete, there is a lot more reasons for players to get more excited with 1.1.2 update. Destiny's latest patch will allow users to have a stroll around the House of Wolves, defeat Vault of Glass boss Atheon, story missions, and more.
Before the House of Wolves expansion pack gets available, some Destiny players have managed to get into the place of one of the new Strike missions on the Moon. Dusk Warren is the first location on the Moon teased. To get there, players must use the dangerous out-of-map jumps. The location is accessible through the World's Grave and the Temple of Crota.
Fallen Ketch is the second location where Strike's boss fight happens. The leak shows a room with two Walkers placed in the wall, and a platform in the midst of the compartment that could possibly launch another location. The House of Wolves is reported to come on May 19 and bring in a new social area, Strike, Raid and story missions.
Of all the current Raids, Vault of Glass is the hardest. In most instances, it requires multiple players. While the Raid needs teamwork to defeat big boss Atheon, a Destiny player has managed to crush Vault of Glass boss Atheon all by himself.
According to Bungie forums, the player known as 'whoismendle' threw himself down the pit as a Warlock just as Atheon opens up the time stream. He used Radiance and attacked the boss with a Rocket Launcher. When Atheon tried to open the time stream and teleport the player, whoismendle re-spawned him back to the top while Atheon got frozen.
The boss fight against Atheon requires team work because multiple players are sent through a 'time stream', and must defeat a number of enemies and pick up a Relic within. Players that didn't get sent through must open up an exit portal for them and defend against multiple enemies themselves. Once the players who were teleported escape the portal, they can buff the team for a brief period and attack Atheon under the protection of a shield. Once the shield disappears, rinse and repeat.
Last week, data miner known as Megamanexe4 divulged this week's Nightfall and Heroic strikes. Will of Crota strike shows an absurd amount of foes in one DLC mission. From the Hive Knights to the Fallen Vandals, enemies will use Arc Burn and Lightswitch. However, Thralls in both ends of the mission become irritating because of the Lightswitch buff.
To easily reach the end of the Strike, hang out at the top balcony in front of Omnigul's room and gradually cut down the adversaries to zero to evade Thralls. Loot all the Arc weapons and destroy Omnigul.
Nightfall Strike features nightfall, epic, arc burn, lightswitch and angry. Meanwhile, Heroic Strike features heroic and arc burn only which makes it less difficult.

Out in the next patch that Megamanexe 4 once predicted, iron banner list has been revealed with gears to counter measure Xur's blocking.
