Xiaomi Mi5 Release Moved to 4Q 2015? 5.5-inch QHD Screen Display Expected with Octa-Core System

The Xiaomi Mi 5 is in the final stages of its prototype testing. Would this mean that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be in the market soon?

International Business Times reports that a photo of the various Xiaomi Mi-series Prototypes (Mi2S, Mi3, Mi4, Mi Note, and Mi 5) was released iby Lei Jun, the CEO of the company. He implied that he values the responses of the customers thus he is releasing five to six prototypes for testing before initially mass producing the models. With this message coming from the Xiaomi CEO, fans may expect the Mi 5 to be released on July. This was also the month when the Mi 4 was released in 2014.

Recent updates regarding the latest flagship smart phone of Xiaomi were bought by the market analyst Pan Jiutang as reported via Weibo. This update had shattered the fans hope of having the smart phone released earlier. According to the market analyst, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be released as early as October or maybe as late as December of 2015.

Specs report about the Xiaomi Mi 5 would imply that the company had produced a high end smart phone. The Mi 5 is expected to have a size of 5 - 5.5 inch QHD display which has a screen resolution of 1560 x 1440 pixels. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 Octa-core system on chip and will run with an Android 5.0 Lollipop with the latest MIUI.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will bear a 3 GB to 4 GB RAM which would mean bigger storage space for the users. The device will also have an improved camera feature. The device will host a 20.7 mega pixel Sony camera for its main and will have a wide-angle snapper on its front for selfie enthusiasts.
