Dying Light Item Duplication Glitch Continues Even After Released Patch Solution

Techland's survival horror game, Dying light continues to battle the infamous item duplication glitch even after releasing a patch that should have solved it. The glitch was shared through Youtube by PowerPyx, a Youtube channel dedicated for game guides and tips, considerably spreading the news to millions of Dying light fans.

The glitch enabled users to easily duplicate their items without using trainers, cheats or game modding. It involves a little button pressing and the use of the storage box to duplicate items instantly. Upon its first discovery, Techland immediately sought ways to solve this glitch, initially by developing a patch. However, only days after the patch was released, gamers began flooding online forums and social media sites with news that the item duplication exploit was still active. This tells the public that the item glitch show a more fundamental game design problem that will not go away easily with simple patchwork.

Dying light is an ambitious project by Techland, a Polish video game developer that tied up with Warner Bros in making this first-person zombie shooter. Since it hit the markets last January, the game unexpectedly became popular and garnered more than a million sales in just the first week after its release. The game centers on the survival of an undercover agent infiltrating a quarantined zone full of aggressive nocturnal zombies.

The game received favourable reviews, especially from online gaming authorities such as Metacritic, IGN and Gamerankings. Though Techland are working feverishly to patch out the item duplication exploit, numerous gamers are accessing this apparent glitch to turn this difficult survival horror into a gleeful walk in the park.

Gamers who are fond of using this exploit will only have days to count as an upcoming patch is expected to completely solve this apparent design flaw. Techland must quickly patch out this problem or it could damage their credibility as one of the most progressive and rising game developers today.
