After three days of last update release, Driveclub 1.12 updates were already available for live download last March 16, Monday. The said patch is in 7.16GB on PS4 platform, as announced through their official Facebook account.
It sounded like a massive patch for the racing game, Driveclub, which contained around 7.16GB patch notes for a highly-demanded Replay feature. Aside from this feature, bug fixes, desired improvements, the Lamborghini Expansion pack, and a massive change for Drift mode were also included in the patch.
The full list of these patch notes can be seen through clicking the update history at the game menu for PS4. Part of the expansion is the inclusion other additions, as well. These include the 2 livery packs: the Pacesetter Tour pack, the Lamborghini Tour pack, and the Peugeot Onyx Concept, which can only be accessed by March 24-26 through PS Store.
For the Replay feature, details were also enlisted such as the players' ability to rewind, pause, fast forward through L1 and L2 controls, with 50 replay shots available for each player. Each of these replay shots can be saved tantamount to a 15-minute racing.
Functions like the Photo Mode, players can also take advantage for hiding the UI including the use of #PS4share button to save favorite racing scenes.
Currently, Evolution Studios were working on the newest edition of Driveclub's PlayStation Plus Edition along with private lobbies, including the multiplayer modes which are needed to be improved.
Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida previously said, "Driveclub will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game, but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision - and I'm fully confident the game will surpass your expectations." With that being said, Evolution Studios seemed to work hard to have these patches available for gamers to reach optimal gaming experience while enjoying race drifting.
