Is Heaven for Real or Mere Conspiracy?

By

In 2014, Heaven is for Real movie was released. The movie did so-so according to reviews, but it was able to hit the box office. Many people became interested on the movie, others remained skeptical. However, a controversy struck the movie. 'The story wasn't real', according to some. This is far more different from what the producers and movie makers claimed. What is the real deal about the movie? Are we just being deceived that heaven is indeed, real?

Colton Burpo's story which was seen in 'Heaven is for Real' is still receiving a lot of negative remarks saying that everything was a lie. However, in this source, it was mentioned that the teenager clarified his name and said that he saw heaven. His family is on his side, still believing that such exist.

This clarification happened when another boy, Alex Malarkey, who originally claimed he went to heaven and had his story published in a book, said everything was a lie. Because of this, the book which was inspired by his story will be pulled out from stores. In one report, Malarkey said that he made that up to gain attention and that people profited from lies.

Now, this has made millions of people even more confused. Evidently, a lot of people believe that they have seen heaven most especially when they are on the verge of dying. Scientific ones would say it is hallucination. According to one source, people would resort to supernatural explanations if they could not comprehend the experience.

But come to think of it, is it so wrong to believe that heaven is real? Is it wrong to hope that there is a divine power that created all of us? We don't see anything bad about it. It's safer to believe that heaven is for real than to consider it as mere conspiracy, isn't? And is there life after death?
