Zayn Malik Signs Off One Direction World Tour: Is the Singer Distressed by 'Cheating Allegations'?

By

Zayn Malik, member of English-Irish pop boy band, reportedly flew back to UK in the middle of their 'On the Road World Tour'. According to a BBC report, the singer stated stress as the main reason for his abrupt leave. Netizens speculate that his "stress" could be due to recent cheating claims against him.

The band representative released a statement that said: "Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta." A source from People reported that plans are in order for Malik to spend time with his family.

The famed singer is engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, but he was reportedly spotted with his arms a woman in Phuket, Thailand. The woman was clearly not his fiancee. It wasn't the first time infidelity allegations had been directed at Malik, but it appears this one was just too much to handle.

The singer expressed great distress at the rumors. "I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous fucks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x," the singer posted in Twitter Wednesday in response to the cheating claims.

Malik's abrupt leave then must be to fix his relationship with girlfriend. The singer doesn't want anything to stand in the way of their marriage, even if it means flying back home and canceling on his tour. While it is definitely not the same without Malik, his bandmates support the decision.

Despite Malik's absence, One Direction does not plan on canceling. The band is currently on the Asian part of their 'On the Road Again Tour', and are scheduled to perform in SM MOA Concert Grounds in Manila, Philippines tomorrow. On March 25 the band will be performing in Jakarta, Indonesia.
